rumors about the debut of jsn entertainment's first group had already been around since early 2020. but it wasn't until october 2020, when the first teaser and images were posted, that they were confirmed. after several trailers and predebut content were released, apollo officially debuted on january 15, 2021 with their single 'delphi' .

in august 2021 the newly emerged rumors that had started to spread were confirmed: the girls that could be seen in the mvs of 'maze' and 'enigma' were the members of the girlgroup jsn entertainment was thought to debut soon.

artemis was then introduced as apollo's sister group on august 10th making their officially debut with their first single 'blue moon' on september 26, 2021.
